Today was the first day back at Brownies for the year!We had our registration evening for the parents to sign all the forms then got straight into introducing ourselves to everybody. We said our name and what our favourite fruit or vegetable was!
Then Carol took the girls outside to play a game so that the girls could tell us all about what they did over their long summer holidays! Carol also told the girls where she is off to on her travels and what she will be up to - we will miss her lots!
The big decisions came next - what their six badge and name will be for the year! Every six chose a different badge and came up with some inventive names too!
It was off to play rounders (a simpler version of baseball) but we ended up playing octopus in the end as rounders became too hard!
I think everyone had an enjoyable first evening back at Brownies - we have heaps of fun activities planned for next week.
