Week 8, 23rd March 2010

Tonight we started by learning how to plait and made friendship bracelets out of wool. Girls learned the skill of tying knots and teaching others to plait (if they knew how!). The girls really enjoyed this activity.

The girls then made thank you cards for our District Co-ordinator Alison for helping make biscuit selling happen this year. Thanks so much Alison for organising biscuit selling so well - the girls and I really appreciate it.

Finally, the girls got to make their own hockey stick out of newspaper so that they could all play indoor hockey. I had taped 4 corks together to make the "puck" as part of our 'Corks theme' and the girls had a fun time playing hockey. It was certainly challenging playing with corks as the puck!

  1. What great fun and adventures you are all having at Brownies. I hope you all remember to thank your leaders for doing all this so you can learn and enjoy your Brownie meetings so much. Keep up the good work- your web site is very impressive
