Term 2: Week 1, 20th April 2010

Welcome back to Term 2 at Kohi Brownies, girls.

First up this evening each girl paired with another girl they didn't know very well to get to know them and they had gotten up to in the holidays. The girls got to spend some time with girls they didn't know all that well which was a good experience. It sounds like everyone had a lovely holiday.

Tonight we completed the ANZAC Heritage badge by completing the following activities:

1) make and decorate a peace dove
2) using our Leader's morse code machine to communicate using morse code
3) learn what the letters ANZAC stand for and why we celebrate ANZAC day
4) find Gallipoli on a map and find some facts about Gallipoli
