This evening we completed the Biscuit patch.
We made biscuit sandwiches by icing two Girl Guide biscuits together with a popsicle stick in the middle. We used butter cream icing to make the sandwich. Girls then used writing icing to draw a smily face on the top of their biscuit sandwich and put some coloured chocolate drops on.
Girls searched through magazines for biscuit pictures to create a biscuit picture collage. It was quite hard to find pictures of biscuits - we ended up including all baking! We have put this up underneath our notice board at the hall.
We had fun with change with a cash register and play money, including the aprons and sandwich board sign made for our upcoming stall. The girls loved playing shop and had to think about what change to give.
Last for the night was to create a TV ad to sell Girl Guide biscuits, although the second group didn't quite get to finish as they were having so much fun selling biscuits! The first group did really well and came up with a creative TV ad.
Hope your biscuit selling is going well!
