Week 6, 25th May 2010

Space was our theme for the evening.

First up the girls had 3 different space shapes to colour in - a planet, star and a rocket. The girls did some good colouring in.

We then had a fun space booklet to complete - the girls had to fill out information about the 9 planets, had some fun space puzzles including a crossword and cryptogram. The girls got to take these home to work on and colour in.

Our mother help created a scale model of the solar system to help to give the girls an understanding of the distance and size of the planets in relation to the sun. This really helped the girls to understand what planets looked like.

To finish off the evening we played the game Poisonous Letter.
